Following the pandemic, appetite remained from within the sector to continue to monitor public sentiment towards visiting attractions. What external factors are currently encouraging the public to visit attractions or are perhaps acting as barriers? During 2022 and 2023, these studies have focussed largely upon the impact of the cost of living crisis on visiting attractions. These surveys currently run twice a year and are conducted on behalf of the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions. Reports are freely available for the sector to use.
